60 days from the day you obtain your MD Driver’s License
Come in with a loan statement and out of state registration card for us to order the title from the lender. The same 60-day rule applies, so be sure to come into our office no later than 3 weeks after you have obtained your MD driver’s license; or better yet, wait to obtain your license AFTER you have titled ALL your vehicles in Maryland.
You must turn your plates in before you can cancel insurance. You can mail us the plates with a check for our fee if you’ve alread moved out of state.
Yes. Maryland MVA will assess a fine if the insurance is cancelled before the plates are returned.

Bring in the placard form VR-210 completed and signed by your doctor’s office, and we will obtain the placard or handicapped plate, 4-7 day turn around.
You can only have two placards or one placard and a license plate. The placards may be used in any vehicle, they come with an ID card to carry with you.
Contact the police barracks and get an incident report number then come into us to report it to MVA. We will fill out all the appropriate forms.
A one-time safety inspection is required per title transfer unless the title transfer is a valid gift transfer between spouses or parent and child.
